For the month of March, 2014, I took a leave of absence from Google to work with a crew of people called the Ad Hoc on fixing Healthcare.gov in time for the end of the open enrollment period. It was a hell of a ride, but something I'm passionate about: we should all have healthcare.
Since 2006, I've been a volunteer with the BRC Rangers. Since 2010, I've been involved with the Ranger Mentors, training and evaluating the next generation of mentors.
Until 2008, I was an organizer and the Ranger Coordinator for Firefly, a participatory, community-driven interactive arts festival held in Vermont (usually July 4th weekend!)
